Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major tournament

This young athlete boasts substantial social media following

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile supporters as she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, possesses several courses worldwide and regularly matches against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to compete and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in only three events in 2024 and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA listings.

But she's able to seek guidance from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, have fun, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that her participation brings the sport to new audiences, especially with the next generation.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and just introduced her own apparel and wellness label.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
